The Rinehart Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in Wheeler, on the north Oregon coast. While it organized as a nonprofit corporation in 1996, the facility’s heritage extends to 1913 when clinic Medical Director Dr. Harry Rinehart’s grandfather moved to the area to serve as a lumber mill physician before establishing a private practice. Over the last century, three generations of Rinehart family physicians have cared for as many generations of north Tillamook County residents.

The clinic's service area is a federally-designated Health Professional Shortage Area, meaning it has an "acute shortage of health care providers," and also is a federally-designated Medically Underserved Area, meaning the area lacks the resources "to meet the medical needs of the resident population." The Rinehart Clinic is working to meet those needs by providing high quality, complete, personalized medical care for residents and visitors. We offer: • Internal Medicine • Urgent Care • Primary Care • Women's Health • Social Worker on Staff • Family Medicine • Children--All Ages • Sports Physicals & Immunizations • Geriatric • Dental Health Referrals • Psychiatric Mental Health • 24-hours On-Call Service • Specialists Available in Cardiology, Urology & Pulmonology/Sleep Studies
