Leila Salmon has been a mental health advocate for 60 years, working for and training nonprofit organizations. She has an immediate family of 40 individuals who are all wonderful.

The Vice President of the Board is Mike Scott, a retired naval officer and former financial advisor. A full time resident for 4 years, Mike and his wife, Phyllis, have been married for over 40 years with 3 grown children.

Hans Tonjes is a general contractor and lives with his wife and son in Manzanita. Hans is very interested in the long term future of the clinic, including a larger permanent home for the clinic and other health and community services.

D. Scott Allen, D. Min, currently serves as Secretary of the Rinehart Clinic Board of Directors. Dr. Allen finally became a full-time resident in 2002 when he began serving as Pastor of the Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church.

Gail Young is a retired high school English teacher whose interest in community health care has been influenced by her daughter, a physician in Portland. Gail's other interests include reading, beach walks and travel.

Nancy Jones: following a career in the field of customer relations management, Nancy Jones has the longest tenure on the Board, having joined the Board in 2000 as an expression of her commitment to the Mission of the Rinehart Clinic.

Peter Newman is a full time Manzanita resident who believes in the clinic mission providing quality health care to all residents in our community. Peter is a broadcaster at Tillamook's KTIL radio and "Astoria's KMUN/Coast Community Radio."

Jennifer Holm moved to the Manzanita area with her husband in December of 1997. Prior to life in Manzanita, Jennifer worked as a Production Manager in the Film and Video Industry in Portland. She was the Board President for the New Discoveries Preschool.
